Rescue Placement Only. #A590364 Lucy is a 2-year-old white and black Siberian Husky, listed at just 34 lbs on intake (later recorded at 40 lbs (likely an error). She was found and kept safe for 24 hours by a kind finder who wanted to help, but due to living arrangements, she couldn't keep her any longer. Now Lucy is out of time! Medical Emergency: Her top and bottom eyelids are curling inward more than normal- a painful condition causing irritation. There is discharge from her left eye. She needs medical care and relief, not a death sentence. This condition is treatable, but she needs a rescue to step up. Despite her discomfort, Lucy is described as FRIENDLY and APPROACHABLE. Even while in pain, she is gentle. She trusts. She leans in. She does not understand what is happening to her. She is not aggressive. She is not beyond help. She is simply in need of medical care.
