Help! This LA City shelter is full. Charming Pee Wee was found as an abandoned stray, understandably a bit timid and shy initially. Within a week, he learned to walk well on a leash, and began warming up to staff and volunteers. He has since participated in playgroups and is described as having a gentle and dainty playstyle. Shelter staff has noted, 'He is a very sweet boy. I have personally had him out twice, and he interacts well with people.' In fact, we have wonderful video of him showing how much he loves to be pet and loved on now. Pee Wee has been estimated to be 2 years young and weighs 64 bs. He has a beautiful soft coat. Recently neutered, Pee Wee is ready to go to his forever home. However, in a very full shelter, his time may be limited. Therefore, if you are interested to adopt this sweet boy, or can foster locally, please contact the shelter by calling (888) 452-7381. If you can foster, but are further away or not in the shelter's jurisdiction, please contact [email protected] asap or Southern California Chow Chow Rescue Network who is trying to assist the shelter with his placement. Please note rescue groups typically need a foster to save a dog. We will then try to pair you with a willing rescue group in time.
