Bandit - Border Collie Beauty Looking for Her Forever Farm. Turning 3 in March and 49 lbs of athletic heart, Bandit is a high-drive, active girl who is incredibly sweet, affectionate and full of joy. She is friendly with people, kids (she is like a 4-year-old herself), dogs, and the farm animals she's met. She should not live with cats. She is housetrained, crate trained, and does best with thoughtful supervision and structure. While she has classic border collie energy and intensity, she is not a working or performance dog - she's looking to be someone's loyal sidekick and great pal. After multiple failed homes, Bandit has spent the past several months in a rehab home processing trauma and learning how to channel her intense chase drive into healthy herding games (stalking and flanking) - and she's making wonderful progress. She's affectionate, eager to follow direction, and her confidence has grown tremendously. She is almost ready for her next adventure in her forever home. Bandit isn't suited for car travel and needs minimal exposure to vehicles. She thrives on routine, open space, and calm, consistent support. Her ideal home is a family farm or property with fenced pastures where she can explore, play, and relax simply as a dog. She's young, still learning, and will need patient, compassionate adopters who appreciate classic border collie quirks - the brilliance, the intensity, the moments that make you laugh, gasp, and love her all the more for them. If you're dedicated to understanding her heart and giving her the steady home she deserves, Bandit is ready for her next chapter.
