About Ozark

On a recent day out with a volunteer, Ozark rode well in the car and calmly took in new surroundings, often choosing to stay close and lean in for connection. During several hours of exploring local parks, Ozark showed curiosity and confidence in new environments. He preferred to keep moving and investigate his surroundings rather than stop and sit for long. He remained quiet throughout the outing - no barking or whining - and handled the experience well. Ozark showed friendly interest in people and calmly observed other dogs from a distance without reactivity. He is still new to meeting other dogs and is currently recommended for a single-dog home while he continues building positive experiences. He walks nicely on leash, enjoys meeting new people, and is affectionate with familiar people. Ozark would be a good match for someone looking for an active companion to join them on regular walks and outings.
