Rosie came into the rescue with a very serious skin condition. She went to our vet for a comprehensive exam, vaccines, tests, and she got medication for her skin infection (a result of flea infestation). Now she's looking and feeling so much better! She's ready to start the search for her forever family. If you live in CT and would like to adopt (or foster-to-adopt) her, please fill out an application: https://www.allaboutthedogsrescue.org/get-involved Rosie loves everyone - people, other dogs, and even does well with cats. She will be happy to live with children who are steady on their feet - we prefer 7+ years old. She will be happiest in a suburban or rural setting. She wouldn't be happy as a city dog, or living in an apartment or condo. A securely fenced yard would be her idea of heaven. Rosie is a shepherd/husky mix, best guesstimate about 2 years old. She's a young dog who is also medium energy. She will need daily walks and exercise, as does any dog. She's a fairly calm dog who just loves being loved. We will give preference to families with breed experience (shepherd and/or husky). Rosie is a wonderful dog who will make a fabulous family member.
