Thanks to the efforts of a caring rescue group, EMBER was saved at the last minute from the cruel kill pound in Houston, Texas, where the gentle, loving young Shepherd-mix was sentenced to death, simply because it was easier for uncaring managers to kill EMBER than it was to adopt her. There's not a thing in the world wrong with this beautiful rescue dog! In fact, EMBER is thriving with her foster mom who describes her as follows: 'EMBER is a sweet wiggly girl who loves neck scratches and spending time with her favorite humans and her foster siblings, including both cats and dogs. EMBER loves everyone she meets, including new people and especially kids! EMBER is fully housetrained, never pulls on leash and rarely ever barks unless to alert her loved ones to the approach of a stranger. EMBER would be a wonderful companion for a retired individual or couple, or an active young family. In fact EMBER would be the perfect family dog! EMBER is spayed, up-to-date on all shots and in perfect health.' Please click the YouTube button for a cute video of EMBER seeing snow for the first time.
