About TRIX

LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY - Within 1 hour of Pensacola, FL TRIX is a 4.12 pound Chihuahua puppy born on November 24th. She was surrendered with her littermates and dad, Charlie, so they could find new homes. She will make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a sweet, snuggly puppy. TRIX is a calm, quiet little puppy who is happiest when she is snuggled up with her person. She loves attention and will gladly curl up on the couch or in your lap, but she is also content to quietly entertain herself with toys. She especially enjoys squeaky toys and will toss them around with the cutest little bursts of puppy playfulness. While she has a laid-back personality, she is still a puppy and will explore whatever she can find if given the opportunity. TRIX gets along very well with other dogs and would do beautifully in a home with a furry companion. She is also confident enough to be happy as an only dog soaking up all of the attention. She enjoys children and has done well with them. Cats are unknown, but based on her easygoing temperament, we would not anticipate an issue with proper introductions. TRIX is learning to go potty outside and is making great progress. She will also use a pee pad if needed and should not take long to be fully potty trained with consistency. Walking on a leash is still a work in progress. At night, she sleeps all night without a peep in her dog bed, preferably tucked under her blanket. She rarely barks. TRIX has had all three puppy shots, and is microchipped with lifetime registration. Her spay will be scheduled at one of our partner vets when age-appropriate and is included in the adoption fee. Because she has a pending vet appointment she is local adoption only (within 1 hour of Pensacola). We are looking for a family committed to training, socialization, and the lifelong responsibility of raising a happy, healthy companion. *To meet or adopt one of our dogs, you must first submit an adoption application for review. Important - check your spam folder for follow up questions and responses from our team. *A Place of Hope Rescue is a foster-based rescue located in Pensacola, Florida. We do not have a physical facility for visits. We adopt within a 6 hour drive to Pensacola. Puppies and dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral or medical issues are only adoptable locally (within 1 hour to Pensacola). We do not ship or transport our dogs.
