Help, please. In danger since am considered a longer-term doggie at the shelter, so when it gets over-capacity, which happens relatively often, I may be made to 'disappear', be gotten rid of. I am a very good doggie, very cute (that picture does not do me justice). I am on the stressed side being at the shelter since only get out of my kennel, about twice a week, for only 20 min. or so. So, while in the kennel, am loud, and if see someone walking by, try to get their attention by getting jumpy against the kennel bars. My sweetheart volunteer, who sadly I only see infrequently, since so many doggies here, not enough volunteers, says once I get outside, am a totally different doggie. Says, that my 'body went from tense, hard and strong to loose, soft, and smooshy'. She thinks I am smart, which I am, thinks I am a great doggie. I know basic commands, am polite and take my treats gently. Please, please come visit me. Maybe take me home? With you I won't be stressed, won't be locked up almost all the time. Come. If want to see other GREAT, wonderful doggies, besides ME, at Chicago Animal Care and Control, who are also in great need of finding a loving home, just scroll down and click on, 'Chicago Animal Care and Control'. Come.
