About Brownie

Meet Tadpole and Brownie These two little nuggets, Tadpole (cream) and Brownie (brown) were surrendered to a kill shelter when their mom could no longer care for them. We rescued them as soon as we could and brought them to the safety of our no kill shelter. They are absolutely adorable. They are a bonded sibling pair and we'll adopt them together. Both are males, four years old. Brownie weighs four-six lbs. and Tadpole weighs 10-12 lbs. Tadpole is dependent on Brownie. Whatever Brownie does, Tadpole is sure to follow. The boys are outgoing. They are full of fun and enjoy running and playing. They will also snuggle in your lap and will sit with you for as long as you let them. Their mom loved them to bits, and it shows. We're looking for the perfect person/family wanting to embrace two little hearts and give them a happy and safe life. The boys are mostly housetrained. Brownie will be neutered soon and that might make it easier for the house training to be completed. Tadpole and Brownie are dog and cat friendly, and they LOVE people. They are the perfect ridealong dogs. They walk well on a leash. Having a fenced yard, even if small, will be necessary. The boys are little and having a place where they can potty outside will be so helpful. Tadpole has a smooth cream-colored coat. Brownie's coat is curly and soft. We are smitten with these two little love bugs. They are happy, affectionate, friendly and so brave, embracing their new life without their loving mom. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area. We do permit out-of-state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship, nor do we transport them to their new homes.
