Stormy-Border Collie/Lab Female, Tripod, DOB 2-7-24 (Dec. 2025) Contact [email protected] for an application Stormy was taken in by a Trainer, looking to help dogs into a Service Dog program through Prisons. Stormy fit the criteria and has been training for a while now. Stormy does have one back leg missing...loss when hit by a car when younger. The Trainer said being a tripod does not slow Stormy down. She has the typical energy and ability of the Border Collie genetics. Stormy has a great personality and lives with her Inmate Trainer and many other dogs in the program, doing great with everyone. She has Obedience/Husbandry skills/ Grooming skills & rides well in a car. Stormy is 54.2 lbs (Medium size dog). She has not lived with cats, no opportunity in the Prison, but will be tested when she comes into foster care. Children are an unknown, too. Stormy's adoption fee is $350 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. For our application,please email [email protected] for an application.
