About Brooklyn

Brooklyn is a 4-year-old, spayed female Perro de Presa Canario with a beautiful brindle coat and an even more beautiful heart. She came to us as a stray after previously being adopted from another shelter, where she successfully completed heartworm treatment. Despite our efforts, no owner came forward for her. Their loss is truly someone else's incredible gain. Brooklyn is the definition of a classy little lady. She is exceptionally gentle and well-mannered with humans of all ages. Her sweet, submissive nature makes her a joy to be around, and she carries herself with a calm confidence that is simply perfection. She has wonderful manners and solid training. Brooklyn knows: Sit Stay Come Down Focus Gentle She walks beautifully on a leash and does not pull at all-making daily walks relaxing and enjoyable. When playing with toys, she is soft and respectful, always aware of where your hands are. She will happily drop a toy when asked and loves a good game of tug-o-war. Brooklyn is not food or toy possessive in the slightest. You can be near her bowl while she's eating, and she remains completely relaxed. She's easygoing, trusting, and secure. She is great with other animals and very passive by nature. If another dog is barking at her, she simply chooses not to engage and would rather avoid the interaction. She prefers peace over conflict every time. Brooklyn is truly one of the most amazing girls you could ever meet. She is incredibly sweet, deeply loving, and ready to give her whole heart to a forever family. If you're looking for a gentle, devoted, well-mannered companion, Brooklyn is your girl.
