About Letterman Larry

Hi, my name is Letterman Larry. I was abandoned as a young guy and found myself in the scary and very loud shelter. I am a big boy at 73 lbs but am still a puppy and am learning how to be my best self! I have become very stressed in the shelter and need to get out with a foster through a rescue otherwise my story will end on the shelter floor on March 9th. I have only had very short breaks and am hoping that a family will come along to help write me a happy ending. �'ۢ I am a handsome boy with 2 different colored eyes and the softest chocolatey red fur! �'ۢ I am smart and know sit, shake and wait! �'ۢ I am very treat motivated and picked up on leash training quickly but still have more to learn - I can be strong sometimes! �'ۢ I would be a great in an active home or one with a back yard and am great at entertaining myself with toys �'ۢ I don't know how I feel about dogs - the shelter is very scary. I would be best as the only dog or in a home that can keep me separate and do very slow intros until I feel safe �'ۢ Cats are too fun to chase so no cats for me! �'ۢ I can't communicate with words but something happened that has made me nervous around kids - so �'ۢ I love playing and once I trust someone I have so much love to give - I just need you to be patient and loving with me. Will you please give me a chance? I am a baby and am not ready to go yet.
