About TIPSY

Adoption Fee: $300
Poodle
Age: Senior
Sex: Female

TIPSY is a 9-year-old 14 pound poodle mix who was surrendered to us after her owner passed away. Sadly, the family was not even aware that he had a dog and was not prepared to take her in. Through no fault of her own, this gentle girl found herself needing a new beginning. She will be a great companion for a lucky person! TIPSY is the sweetest, most easygoing little soul. She is calm, quiet, and incredibly loving. She follows her person from room to room and simply wants to be near you, whether that means laying by your feet, following you to the kitchen, or keeping you company while you get ready for the day. She loves to be petted and will happily roll over for belly rubs. She is not a big barker, though she may join in if other dogs start barking. She doesn't jump on people and has very relaxed, polite manners. TIPSY gets along well with other dogs and would do fine with dogs her size or even larger, as long as they are not overly dominant. She is passive and can be a bit of a pushover with stronger personalities. If she is an only dog she should not spend much time alone. She has been good with her foster mom's grandchildren, but will be happier in a calm home. Cats are unknown. TIPSY is housebroken and walks well on a leash. While she does not run around much in the yard, she enjoys quietly exploring and being outside. At night, she sleeps in the bed with her foster mom and settles in easily. TIPSY is spayed, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, has had a ProHeart 12 heartworm prevention shot, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. *To meet or adopt one of our dogs, you must first submit an adoption application for review.
