About Albert

Meet our Albert!!! Albert was found as a stray in May 2025 & was brought to the AHS- Newark shelter where he has been sitting alone in his kennel waiting for someone to adopt him. Albert came in with an eye injury & had surgery at the shelter four months later to reomove it. The surgery was not successful & Albert needed immeidate rescue help to get him the medical help he desperately needed. After being in the care of our vet, Albert has healed beautfully & is ready to live the best life ever! Albert needs a strong handler that will be a leader for him & guide him with boundaries & structure. He is eager to please & will thirve in a home with routine & love. Albert will make you smile wiht his goofy personality... he is adult kid, people, dog & even cat friendly. Please adopt Albert.. shelter favorite & one of our dogs we root for the most! We love him so much & cannot wait for him to find his family.
