Please give me a chance. I am very afraid here, trying to be brave. So much afraid, that sometimes the volunteers have to carry me at times because I freeze in fear. I may look like a toughie, but am a softy. I arrived at the shelter on Jan. 14, which means I am considered a long-term dog here, so when the shelter gets over-capacity, which tragically happens often, I may be made to 'disappear', be no more. I am a good boy. At first, I was very timid when I met other doggies here on leash, but recently participated in doggie playgroup (with both boy and girl doggies) and played very nicely, running around with them, wagging my tail. I am starting to come out of my fearful shell. Please come visit me. Maybe take me home? I won't have to be afraid with you. You can love me, and I will love you. We'll take care of each other. Come. If want to see other GREAT, wonderful doggies, besides ME, at Chicago Animal Care and Control, who are also in great need of finding a loving home, just scroll down and click on, 'Chicago Animal Care and Control'. Come.
