Crank is a 5.5 year old well trained Doberman. He's a sweet, goofy, loving boy but he is just very stressed, tense and anxious around our 3 year old human. We are not able to keep them separated anymore and despite training and teaching our daughter boundaries, it is not safe for either of them to live together. We have had crank since he was a puppy and he has always been slower to approach taller men but has never shown signs of aggression. He will walk, hike, or curl up at your feet all day. He cares more about being around his person than he cares about any activity. He's so eager to please and we joke that we didn't have to train him because he just learned English. He gets very tense when my daughter gets between me and him and has some resource guarding with food around other dogs. He is otherwise good with other dogs and will match your energy level. He is a blue Doberman and comes with the typical alopecia associated with that color 'blue Doberman syndrome' is the name. Other than needing a sweater when he is cold, this has no other accompanying health issues. We want crank in a home where he will be safe and loved.
