About Echo and Opal

Echo was in a county euthanasia facility, in the night, she had a single puppy. No one noticed that she was pregnant so she had no blanket, no crate, just the concrete floor. It was very cold that week. The shelter collaborated with a Humane org. to get the pair out of the shelter the same day. I am fostering for that org. Echo, the mom is still young maybe 7 months old. Maybe that's why she only had one baby. She is stocky and has a super sleek coat, she does not have potty accidents in the house. She still needs to be crated when no one is home. The baby, well she is a precocious baby who loves to play, is opinionated and is in good health. I am pre-screening for a home for one or both of these dogs. To adopt, you must be patient and kind, you must be a homeowner with a fenced yard, you must have a history of providing appropriate care to a previous or current dog. Both dogs seem good with other dogs. ( always fed separately ) Puppy and Mother will be spayed, microchipped, wormed and current on inoculations when they are adopted. Mom had some kind of bad experience and gets very scared especially about leashes and tries to hide her head, God knows what happened to her.
