I was left here by my human on Jan. 18th, so that puts me in a dangerous position when the shelter gets over-capacity, which it OFTEN does. Dangerous for me since the shelter will have to make some of us permanently 'disappear' and am at the top of that tragic list, since was left here by my human, PLUS, am considered a longer-term dog here. I don't know why left here, since am a good boy. I like to stay close to the volunteers, since am afraid, so loud here with so many doggies barking, not a home, so different from everything I have ever known, scary. I may look like a toughie, but am not, am very gentle. Have met some doggies here on leash, am the timid type, but did some sniffing. I am not young, but not old either, only 7, have good spunk. Have a lot of years left to live, a lot of love yet to give. Please, please, come meet me. Maybe take me home? I will feel safe with you, will be safe with you, not be afraid, anymore. Am a good boy. Come. If want to see other GREAT, wonderful doggies, besides ME, at Chicago Animal Care and Control, who are also in great need of finding a loving home, just scroll down and click on, 'Chicago Animal Care and Control'. Come.
