I want to be as transparent about this 120lbs boy. I got him from a breeder at 4-5 months old and was told he had been with goats his whole life. He wasn't when I got there. I should have known them. Put him in with our goats, supervised and housed Separate because he would not stop chasing. We tried to work with him. Then my husband got sick and died in September 2024. In all honesty he was neglected (with training only) for a year after. I've tried to work with him, but he continues to chase and has attacked 2 goats. He adores me and my kids, but can't integrate with our 'house dogs.' And I don't have the money for fencing to make him a 'perimeter dog' for the property. Plus he's lonely. He needs someone who can love and spend time with him or knows more about training. The breeder is not responding and my fellow farmers are just saying to 'end' him, which I don't want to do. A big portion of this situation is my fault. He shouldn't suffer. He really is a sweet and cuddly boy (with me and my kids only).
