About Boston

Boston is about 7/8 months old. We originally rescued him from Fairfax County animal shelter. We have had him for several months With the idea of fostering. We loved him so much, we wanted to keep him! We are so busy that he hast to spend a lot of time in his kennel and we have to pay for people to come and walk him. We do not have the financial means to give him what he needs and deserves. We have three children, our youngest one is three and Boston loves to play with him. Boston still nips a little because he has a puppy, but we have taught our three-year-old to say 'leave it 'and Boston listens very well. He also knows basic commands, such as go, potty, sit, lay down, off. We use a basic prong collar when we are walking him and he never pulls. He is very high energy and loves to zoom around off leash. He sleeps through the night in his kennel and is fully potty trained. He does not like mud, however And Currently will only potty off leash. My husband is working on this. We have a cat, she is older and very confident. He is sometimes too playful with her and she Will swat at him. He will continue to play, but keeps his distance (Temporarily). He should be OK with cats who have Confident temperament or who already like dogs. It breaks my heart to even rehome him, but With The money commitment of a dog +3 kids. It's just too much of a financial burden and it's not fair to the dog. We hope he finds his forever home this time around!
