Despite that rough start, he has remained incredibly affectionate and hopeful, and he's now ready for a fresh beginning in a safe, loving home. He is 3 years old and weighs 40 pounds. Lemon previously lived in a busy household with multiple adults, children, and other dogs, so he's comfortable in an active environment and enjoys being part of the action. Lemon is friendly with both people and other dogs, greeting new friends with a happy, affectionate demeanor. He's food-motivated and eager to please, which makes training both fun and rewarding. He already knows basic commands such as 'sit' and 'wait,' and he's enthusiastic about continuing to learn. He is neutered, fully up to date on vaccinations, and has completed a week-and-half-long board-and-train program with a professional trainer, followed by ongoing private training sessions to reinforce good manners and obedience. Lemon would thrive in a variety of homes - whether with a family, a couple, or a single adopter - as long as he receives consistent love, structure, and guidance. He'll do best with someone who can provide regular exercise, continued training, and plenty of affection.
