About Paprika

Meet Paprika (A281175), a sweet and loving 1.5-year-old girl who has been waiting at the shelter since April 2025. She is a beautiful young dog with so much love to give, and it is hard to understand how she has been overlooked for so long. Paprika is truly one of my favorite dogs to walk. She is incredibly gentle and affectionate, always looking up with soft, hopeful eyes and leaning in for connection. She walks beautifully on leash, knows 'sit,' and takes treats gently. She enjoys playtime and daily walks, but she is just as happy to settle in close for quiet cuddles. She has a wonderful balance of playful energy and calm companionship. She has done well with other dogs at the shelter. As always, we recommend a meet-and-greet with any potential canine siblings to ensure a good match for everyone. Paprika is patiently waiting at Pinal County Animal Care & Control in Casa Grande. She is ready to be someone's loyal companion, walking partner, and best friend.
