About Izzy

This is Izzy, a 7-year old female Aussie/lab mix; house-trained, micro chipped and shots current at Humane Society��%BD'��%BD|..DESPERATELY needs a new home. My daughter Samantha bought Izzy as a 10 week old puppy and she's been a loyal and protective pet. She's wonderful and loving towards my daughter and her little family; perfect temperament & behavior around my Grandsons��%BD'��%BD|but nervous and slow to accept strangers. This is partly because Izzy has been Samanthas certified emotional support animal. We've taken her on trips; Izzy has been to Sea World, restaurants and even Major League Baseball stadiums. but we've asked strangers NOT to pet her. I'm 'Grandpa' and I've known Izzy all her life. As my daughter and her husband travel frequently for business, I've enjoyed dog-sitting, but sadly, they need to re-home Izzy and I now have stage 4 (terminal) cancer and don't have strength to properly care for her. We tried the Humane society, but Izzy doesn't meet their criteria for admittance (growls and tries to run away from staff) They recommended we try RESCUE ROVERS. I know you're extremely busy, but could someone please contact me to discuss possibilities for sweet Izzy? She's a unique case, I know....but just needs the right owner. Thanks so much!
