Meet Sheldon ��ժ Sheldon is one of seven puppies born around December 27th to our 37 pound Australian Shepherd mix mama, Frankie. He currently weighs about 9 pounds and is expected to grow into a handsome medium sized adult. In a litter full of enthusiasm, Sheldon is the thoughtful strategist. He is the puppy who pauses at the edge of the action, studying the situation like a tiny professor gathering data. Wrestling match? He'll observe the technique. New toy? He'll analyze it from a safe distance. Once he has made his assessment, he wades in with quiet confidence. Sheldon enjoys playing with his littermates and absolutely joins in the fun, he just prefers to understand the game before committing both paws. That steady, observant nature will likely grow into a loyal, deeply bonded companion who thinks first and leaps second. He is doing well with housetraining, but like all young puppies, he will need close supervision and frequent trips outside as he continues to learn. Consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement will help him build strong habits and even stronger confidence. Sheldon would prefer a physically fenced yard where he can safely explore and build his confidence at his own pace. A home that appreciates a puppy who takes a moment to warm up and process new situations will see him truly thrive. Sheldon is ready to meet adopters now and will be ready to move to his new home on March 7th when he is 10 weeks old. He will be neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and have received two of the three required distemper/parvo vaccinations. His adopters will be responsible for his third distemper/parvo booster and his rabies vaccine at 16 weeks of age.
