Champ is a 5 yo male GSD. He was born of an accidental litter, and my neighbor asked me to take him at 9wks old after I lost my dog to cancer. He is a little uncomfortable with strangers but give him time to warm up and he will be gentle. He has only been around adults, and I am not sure how he does around children. He does well with all size of dogs and has other dogs around him weekly. He goes to doggie daycare at least once a month and he is around other dogs. My job has me traveling 75% of the year and I am not able to take him with me. I have asked family and friends, and they are maxed out on animals as my sister has 5 dogs already. I have two large bags of dog food, he will get all of his shots next week and he has a microchip in place. Please be intentional and understand that he is a house dog that loves to play outside, but he has never spent a night outside. He sleeps in the house in his dog bed. Only reach out to me if you have the space, time, energy and financially able to feed him and care for him. He is accustomed to lots of hugs, and he needs an owner who understand his breed. He gets long walks and runs freely in the back yard. Please research the breed before contacting me if you have never had a GSD.
