Zorro is a lovable, energetic pup who's almost 5 years old and full of personality. He loves to play 'soccer' (kicking a ball around with one in his mouth!) and zoom around outside. He's happiest when he has space to run and someone who can spend quality time with him every day. Zorro does have some behavioral challenges rooted in anxiety, especially when he feels his personal space is being threatened. He may give 'warning' bites if a stranger reaches out to pet him too quickly or gets into his space. He is muzzle-trained, which helps keep public outings safe, and he does best with calm, respectful introductions and clear boundaries. Because of these needs, Zorro would thrive in a home with an experienced, patient owner who can give him structure, consistency, and plenty of room to play. A quieter home with adults (or older, dog-savvy teens) would likely be the best fit for him. With the right person, he's a loyal, playful companion who just needs someone who understands his boundaries and is willing to work with him. Unfortunately, due to changes in my availability and the time his care requires, I'm no longer able to give Zorro what he truly needs to thrive. I'm hoping to find him a forever home where he can feel safe, relaxed, and free to be his playful self. If you think you might be a good match for Zorro or have any questions, I'd love to talk more.
