About Penny

This brindle beauty is Penny! Penny is a 2 yr old, 65 pound Bully Mix. Penny is a playful and affectionate girl who has spent way too much of her short life in a kennel. Penny is adored by our volunteers, she loves to snuggle on the couch and really enjoys playing ball in the yard. She knows some commands, and is housebroken! But shelter life is really starting to take its toll on Penny. She has become very stressed and can get overwhelmed by too much stimulation. We are looking for an adopter that truly understands the needs of a Rescue Dog like Penny. Someone who realizes that after months of being kenneled, Penny will need time to decompress. She will need time to feel truly comfortable in her new environment. We believe that given that time, Penny will blossom. We believe she will bond deeply with her person(s) and will be a loving and devoted companion. What Penny needs right now is someone willing to step up for this sweet girl, get her out of the kennel and give her the loving home she deserves. Penny needs a quiet, adult only home. Penny is not reactive to other dogs, but would be best suited as an only dog. Penny is spayed and up to date on vaccines.
