This is a proactive, thoughtful decision based on changing life circumstances. His owner adopted him at 19 and has since had to return to school and take on a more demanding work schedule. As responsibilities have increased, it's become clear that this dog would thrive in a home that can offer more time, attention, and shared activities such as longer walks, playtime, and weekend outings. There is nothing 'wrong' with this dog. He is healthy, behaviorally sound, and well cared for. This decision is about advocating for what will best support his quality of life long-term. I work professionally in the canine behavior field and will be involved in supporting a thoughtful and transparent matching process. This should not be interpreted as a guarantee of future behavior, as behavior is always influenced by environment, handling, and routine. He will come with all of his belongings, including his crate, beds, toys, harnesses and leashes, food bowls, and enrichment items.
