This horse is a registered Tennessee Walker (20014750/GR) who was reportedly a champion in his time. He was a beauty and was a dream come true for our granddaughter. I have many pictures of them together and they were soulmates. He is now in his senior years and does not have the body of his previous times, but he is gentle beyond belief, or at least he was with our granddaughter when she was riding him. She most often rode him bareback and at times took naps on his back while he grazed in the pasture (photo available) I think he could still be ridden by a novice youth rider with some rehabilitative training before he is ridden. He is and always has been slow moving and easy going. His only bad habit that I am aware of is his love of 'cribbing'. I have to confess that his current appearance is my fault. I am not a horse person and I don't take care of him properly for him to be the show horse he once was. I am desperately seeking a loving home for him to live out his remaining useful years. would love to keep him with his pasture mates. See descriptions for Eyore and Slate.
