I arrived at the shelter on Feb. 3rd, was left here by my human, so not that long ago. Don't know why left here, but possibly something not good happened to them, since who would leave an older girl in such a place, unless no choice. I hope they are ok. But since left here by my human, it raises my chance of being made to 'disappear', be no more, when the shelter gets over-capacity, which tragically happens often. I know I am on the older side, am 11 years old, but that doesn't mean I don't deserve to be loved, to love, to live on. I am a very peppy senior. Am on the shorter side compared to a lot of the doggies here, but stocky. I have met some doggies at the shelter on leash and do pretty good, nice manners. Please come visit me. Maybe take me home? Instead of adopting me, if you prefer, you can foster me through what is called a rescue organization. The approved rescue organization would then cover everything for me, vet costs, food, doggie beds, whatever. You would provide loving home, snuggles, nice walks, play with me, .... The human helping me write this up, can help you in next steps regarding fostering, if prefer that, than adoption. I don't have a preference, just want my own human to love and be loved by. Come. I am a good girl.
