I was brought to the shelter as a stray on Jan. 14th, which puts me in a dangerous position since am considered a longer-term doggie, meaning when the shelter is over-capacity, I may be put on that tragic list, to be made to 'disappear', be gotten rid of. I am a younger doggie, have so much life left to live, so much love left to give; please, I don't want to disappear. I was afraid when I first came here, but little by little less afraid, trying to be brave. I love to cuddle with the volunteers, makes me feel safer, but sadly, not enough of that since, so, so many doggies here, and not enough volunteers. The volunteers say, I am starting to come out of my shell and show more of my happy side. They think I am cute, I so agree. I am on the smaller side compared to many of the doggies here. I am pretty good with my sit and did well meeting some dogs here on a leash (not the pushy type). Please come visit me. Maybe fall in love with me, I with you. Take me home? Come. If want to see other GREAT, wonderful doggies, besides ME, at Chicago Animal Care and Control, who are also in great need of finding a loving home, scroll down and click on, 'Chicago Animal Care and Control'. Come.
