About Drover

Meet Drover! Drover is a playful, happy, and loving boy that wants nothing more than to be friends with everyone. He is a 9 month old small breed terrier mix. He was rescued from the streets of San Antonio, so there is still a lot about the world he doesn't know. Drover is resilient and brave. He will take on every new challenge with a wagging tail! Drover did have an injury to his hips when he first came to us. The vet believes it was blunt trauma either from being kicked or thrown out of a vehicle. Drover will need an FHO, hip surgery, when he is a year old which will be covered through the rescue. Drover is still a completely normal puppy and is not in any pain. But, if not corrected he will suffer from arthritis at a very young age. He is so excited to find his forever home. Don't make this boy have to grow up in a shelter!
