Meet Mabel: 42 Pounds of Snuggly Devotion Mabel is a three-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix with a heart as big as her smile. At 42 pounds, she's the perfect mid-size companion - sturdy enough for playtime, compact enough for couch cuddles (which happen often). What Mabel loves: - Belly rubs (she is a professional at requesting them) - Children and people of all ages - Snuggling on the couch - Walks and moderate activity - Being near 'her' family She is house trained, affectionate, and thrives on connection. I can tell you from personal experience that if you're recovering from a cold, Mabel will sit right next to you for two full days to make sure you recover. If you're looking for a loyal, people-focused dog who bonds deeply and loves family life, Mabel is your girl. Best fit: Mabel would do best as the only dog in the home. She prefers not to share her people with other dogs and can be protective if another dog approaches during walks. In a dog-free household, she settles beautifully and is an easy, loving companion. We are currently fostering her for LifeLine in Atlanta.
