My name is Suki, and I'm a 3-year-old, 30-pound black and white Husky with the most gorgeous markings and bright blue eyes. I may be petite for a Husky, but my heart is big and full of love. I am incredibly sweet and happiest when I'm snuggled up next to my people. My fur is soft as a cloud, and I take cuddling very seriously. I'm house trained, I know sit and paw, and I walk beautifully on a leash. I'm playful, but not over-the-top energetic - I enjoy fun, but I also appreciate calm moments. I'm crate trained and will go in when asked, though I can feel a little anxious when left alone. I bond deeply with my humans - I just love my people. I'm good with other dogs and not overly talkative (yes, a quieter Husky!). On walks, I'm mostly just curious about squirrels and cats'| I like to observe the world. I'm very smart and curious - sometimes a little too smart. I've been known to figure out kennel locks (good thing my foster family uses more than one!). I like to understand how things work. I'm still working on a few things, and I'm improving every day. I can have some separation anxiety because I form strong attachments. I can be a little mouthy when I want to guide you toward what I need - but it's gentle and never aggressive. And sometimes, when I first meet new friends, I get excited and may jump up to say hello. I just don't want to miss the chance to love you. I'm the kind of girl who will curl up beside you at night, look up at you with my blue eyes, and make you feel like you're the most important person in the world. I'm Suki - soft, sweet, smart, and ready to give my whole heart to someone who will give theirs back.
