This sweet dachshund/staffie mix was surviving life in a wash alongside many unhoused individuals and their dogs, where kindness and consistency were hard to come by and food was never guaranteed. In that world, Beck learned to be cautious - because he had to be. But rescue changed everything. Once Beck realized he was safe, we watched something beautiful unfold. Day by day, his gentle soul began to open up. The shy, uncertain boy we first met has blossomed into a loving pup who now lights up when he sees familiar faces. His tail tells the story his past never could - one of hope, trust, and a heart ready to love. Beck is the definition of a diamond in the rough.
