This adult male Chow was rescued running alongside the 5 freeway in Orange County. No tags, no chip initially. Not spayed/neutered. We gave him all his shots and had him checked out by our vet (our Daughter in law) whose oldest daughter was the one that rescued him off the freeway. We have attempted to find his home or a forever home for him. We already have 4 dogs,2 cats, 6 chickens, 3 goats so really no room for another. He is totally sweet, well behaved, has been crate trained and goes in his here immediately. We named him Bear because he looks like a big cuddly teddy bear. He is perfectly safe whee his is and gets lots of love, good food, companionship, and plenty of exercice. He is not food or territory aggressive. Rides well in vehicle. Very intelligent and obviously was not abused or neglected. Suspect he is an 'escapee' as he did that a couple times here until we reinforced fencing on the outside. Sleeps indoors. Does not tear up furniture. We just have too many rescues already to keep him. Not knowing his history or vaccinations, we assumed he had none so got him everything needed, got him also Rabies and city tags. He 'plays well' with our 4 other dogs. He was not chipped and we have not done so yet either. He is just a big cuddly Teddy Bear.
