The elderly dogs that enter the shelter as 'strays' yet can barely walk (or see for hat matter) are the hardest pills to swallow. Grannie Gertrude is an approximately 12 year old little female senior Chihuahua that was taken to the shelter in a storage tote based on her original intake photo :( She has all the typical age-related medical concerns including vision and hearing impairments.
