Hi! I'm Peanut. I'm a 2-year-old, sable-colored, male corgi currently being fostered in Encinitas, CA. I came into rescue, because my family had more on their plate than they could manage. My family wasn't planning to have puppies. I was born from an unplanned, accidental breeding of my first family's two Pembroke Welsh Corgis. Because of that, I wasn't docked (still have my tail) and my ears weren't taped. I am a sweet boy and enjoy hanging out with my humans and playing ball. A fenced yard would be ideal for my play time, and I'd be fine with children over 10 years old. I'm well socialized and working on basic commands. I'm also crate trained and am learning to walk well on a leash. In my new home, I'd be fine with dog-savvy cats and play well with other dogs. If my new home already has a dog, it would be best if she was female. I'm current on my vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. When the right home is found, I'm ready for adoption. He weighs 30 lbs. To be considered, please submit an adoption application with the rescue for the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of Southern California at www.pwccsc.com/corgi-rescue/. Only applicants in Southern California will be considered. If you have any other questions you may contact Vicky @ 760-672-2258
