Cosmo is a handsome, approximately 2-year-old, 72-pound boy with a HUGE personality and an even bigger heart! He is incredibly affectionate, intelligent, playful, and full of life. We've even had his DNA tested, so we know exactly what makes up this handsome guy! (we also took in his Mom and siblings) Cosmo's DNA Results: - 53% Doberman Pinscher - 31% American Staffordshire Terrier - 15% American Pit Bull Terrier - 1% Boxer With that combination, it's no surprise that Cosmo is one smart, athletic boy! Cosmo Has a Busier Social Calendar Than Most People! This handsome guy doesn't just sit around waiting for something exciting to happen. He's got places to go, people to see, and things to learn! K9 Aquatics - Weekly Swimming: Cosmo absolutely LOVES to swim! He visits K9 Aquatics every week, where he gets to enjoy one of his favorite activities while exercising those muscles and burning energy. Swimming is definitely his happy place! Pawtastic Friends Enrichment Center - Weekly Training: Cosmo attends training every week, where he works on obedience, manners, and mental stimulation. He's a very intelligent dog who enjoys learning and being challenged. K9 Kountry - Doggie Daycare: Cosmo also enjoys spending time at K9 Kountry, where he gets to socialize, play, and have fun with other dogs. This boy needs BOTH physical exercise and mental challenges to thrive. A tired body is wonderful, but Cosmo needs opportunities to use that big brain, too! Whether it's swimming, learning new commands, interactive toys, structured play, or a good adventure, Cosmo is happiest when he's engaged and included. But Here's What We Love Most About Cosmo... What Kind of Home Does Cosmo Need? Cosmo isn't a dog for someone looking for a low-energy, low-maintenance companion. He needs a family that understands intelligent, active breeds and is willing to provide the enrichment and structure he deserves. His ideal home includes: - An active, experienced adopter who enjoys spending time with their dog. - A securely fenced yard with room to play. - Daily physical exercise AND mental stimulation. - Continued training and enrichment activities. - Opportunities to swim, which would make Cosmo one very happy boy! - A compatible, playful medium-to-large canine companion would be a plus. - No small dogs, cats, or small animals due to his prey drive. - A family that considers their dog part of the household, not just a backyard pet. Cosmo's Medical & Care Information Cosmo is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and doggie-door trained. He's also had his Wisdom Panel DNA testing and a 5Strands food intolerance and environmental sensitivity screening completed.
