About Lucille

Lucille is an amazing dog, we have had her since she was 6 weeks old. She grew up on our farm around every kind of animal there is. This past summer we had her fixed and unfortunately since then she has a prey drive now. She can not be around any small animals anymore. She is very submissive to our other bigger dogs, shes always been at the bottom of the pack. She is great with our four kids and other people we've never had issues there. My oldest daughter has spent so much time training her and with her as she was hoping to use her to take to nursing homes and such. Unfortunately she can not live on our farm because she is no longer safe for our other animals. We have done everything we can and it is just not safe for our small farm animals anymore and we can not loose anymore. She does not bother our horses but anything small chickens, rabbits, cats she absolutely can not be around. We love her dearly and want the best life for her we were hoping we could find someone who doesnt have other animals and has more knowledge about this new behavior and keeping her and other animals safe. This is very hard for us, especially our daughter since its her best friend. She is utd on everything, she is licensed in our county but will need a license for whatever county her new owner lives in. This is our last effort to avoid having to take her to animal control. We have tried since June to correct this. We have contacted many rescues and have been turned away.
