About Barkley

Meet Barkley Barkley is a shepherd mix puppy, born around 11/27/25, with soulful eyes and a heart full of love. He and his brother Charlie were found abandoned on a Christmas tree farm of all places. Who could leave two tiny babies out in the cold during the holidays? Thankfully, Barkley's story took a much happier turn. He's now safe in a loving foster home, where he's warm, cared for, and learning what it means to be cherished. He's doing wonderfully and is expected to grow into a handsome 60-70 pound adult. Barkley is the perfect mix of playful puppy and gentle sweetheart. He enjoys exploring his surroundings, tumbling around with puppy enthusiasm, and then settling in for some well-earned snuggles. He's affectionate, curious, and still very much a baby-soaking up the world one experience at a time. Because Barkley is so young, he's looking for an adopter who is home most of the day and ready to guide him through puppyhood with patience, consistency, and love.
