About COOPER

I am in a desperate state and need assistance re-homing and getting a good family to adopt my pet. I need to leave town in March and have no one to care for my 9yr old STAFFORDSHIRE TERRIER. His name is COOPER and we adopted him as a rescue pet from ACS in February 2017. (He was fixed at that time). He was badly mistreated by his original owner. Cooper has a loving and very mild temperament and usually prefers to stay inside, until it is nighttime when it's quieter. He loves being near whomever he is close to. He has been an in-door pet and has never been caged in our home. He is house-broken and has never had an accident in the house. He never tears up furniture or chews on shoes. He likes ripping paper and paper towels if it is left on the floor, Cooper is excellent with children and loves to sleep and uses blanket during thunderstorms or fireworks. He's extremely smart and intuitive. He whimpers to let you know he needs to go outside he barks if it is urgent. He was current on his vaccinations up untl 2022, and received care at the VCA Veterinary Hospital of Leon Springs on I-10 West. Please help me to find a good family to adopt this adorable companion!
