About Zekie

Zekie is a 4-6-year-old rat terrier. He weighs 13lbs and is a very high-energy guy who loves running around and enjoys fetch and tug-of-war. He also loves snuggles and heating pads. Unfortunately, Zekie is very under-socialized and is reactive. He is fearful of strangers and other dogs. He has not bitten any dogs while in my care, but while having a reaction, he has nipped me out of fear. I think he would do well in a home with an open backyard that he can run around in and with people who have time, energy, and funds to be able to provide him with the training he needs. He is both crate-trained and potty-trained. He knows commands such as sit, down, stay/get it (feeding commands), and up(jump). His main issue is his reactivity, but outside of that, he is a very sweet boy
