CHECK YOUR SPAM/JUNK FOLDER IF%A0 DON'T RECEIVE A REPLY TO AN INQUIRY INDOOR ONLY HOMES Hobart was found in an Inland Empire neighborhood on Christmas day, 2025. Hobart has unusual, lighter colored fur on both rear legs. I kept thinking the fur was sun-bleached and would molt out; currently, I'm not convinced that will happen as the fur color has remained unchanged. Hobart is a FANTASTIC rabbit full of personality and charm. He definitely likes human attention and wants to be a part of the action. He is extremely friendly and loves snuggles and noggin' rubs. He will tooth purr with contentment. He definitively binkies and flops. He loves running around then checking in for nose boops and kisses, then does a bit more playing. And repeat. He's easy to pickup, hold and handle. He wants nothing more than to please you, love you and be a part of the family. He was briefly introduced to a few female rabbits here to gauge his desire for a bunwife; I believe he would like one if you have a lonely, spayed female rabbit. Or, if you want to lavish him with love and have an intense human-rabbit connection, he would probably be okay with that too. Hobart should be housed in an exercise pen or free roam. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is always open and an exercise pen placed around it. (Nylon, pop-up playpens are not recommended as a rabbit will chew right through it!) Hobart would do well as a free roam rabbit also. Please be over 21 if inquiring about Barnaby. Rabbits are a 10+ year commitment. Hobart can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information.%A0 PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you've never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies! If you have a spayed/neutered single bun searching for a friend, there are plenty of rescue rabbits here available for my signature rapid romance bunny bonding. Male/female bondings are usually recommended.
