��%90%BE��ե Come Meet Zuri ��ե��%90%BE Zuri is an adorable, gentle soul just waiting for a loving home of her own. She was rescued from Memphis Animal Services, where she bravely gave birth to eight puppies. After raising her babies, it's finally her turn to be cared for. Zuri takes a little time to warm up - but oh, once she does, she is incredibly sweet. ���� In her foster home, she has already made beautiful progress. For the first three days she mostly slept, decompressing from everything she's been through. By day five, she ventured out of her crate on her own�'�| and soon discovered her favorite cozy spot on the sofa next to her humans. She is: ��ӕ�%8F Housebroken (she scratches at the door and whimpers to go out) ��ӕ�%8F Wonderful on a leash ��ӕ�%8F Calm and quiet (she hasn't barked yet!) ��ӕ�%8F Cat neutral ��ӕ�%8F Not interested in squirrels ��ӕ�%8F Very light shedder She can be startled by wind or people who approach too quickly, but with gentle encouragement and positive reinforcement, she continues to grow braver every day. Tasty treats and a house leash are helping her learn to come when called instead of dodging away. She doesn't mind having her paws wiped after walks and even tolerates bath time like a lady. When her humans step out for a few hours, she relaxes to classical music - the perfect little house guest. ��Z Considering how timid she was in the shelter, Zuri has come such a long way in just eight days. As she continues to feel safe, we expect her playful and food-motivated side to blossom. All she needs is a patient, positive family who will let her move at her own pace and show her the world isn't so scary.
