About Gus

Hello, I am seeking rescue assistance or guidance for a friendly Australian Shepherd mix named Gus. We found him as a stray and have safely cared for him for over 50 days while attempting to locate an owner or new home, but unfortunately we can no longer continue housing him and need placement help. We are at full capacity already with 4 of our own and are planning a funeral for our grandmother who just passed away. We cannot help anymore and are at the point of having to take him to the shelter, which we adamantly want to avoid. He has been posted on all the lost and found sites, socials etc. DOG DETAILS: Name: Gus (temporary name) Location: Riverside County, CA Age: Approximately 2 years (estimated) Sex: Male, intact Weight: Large breed (exact weight unknown) Vaccination status: Unknown Microchip: None found TEMPERAMENT & BEHAVIOR: ��%BD'� Very sweet with people, affectionate personality ��%BD'� Playful and energetic; enjoys fetch and playing with toys ��%BD'� Does not bark/react at other dogs during observations ��%BD'� Silly, friendly demeanor with soft temperament ��%BD'� Currently stays in backyard and sleeps in garage NOTES: ��%BD'� Unknown history prior to being found ��%BD'� Compatibility with dogs, cats, or children not fully tested ��%BD'� Would likely do well with space to run (large yard or ranch-style home) I am hoping for rescue placement, foster assistance, or courtesy sharing within your adopter network.
