This gorgeous lab/pointer mix was saved from the euthanasia list in an overcrowded southern shelter. As a black dog, he was lucky enough to escape the shelter and thought he had won the lottery when he landed in his current home. However, his adoptive mom is an older lady in a NYC apartment and after a recent fall, she has had to face the reality that this 3 y/o, 65 lb. boy is just a little too big and too strong for her to manage. Boz is super sweet and affectionate, easy-going, knows his basic commands, is housebroken, crate/trained, and loves other dogs (he's a dog park rock-star!). And, just as you would expect from a lab, he loves to play fetch and brings the ball back to you for you to throw again. Boz really needs a home with one (or more) dogs for him to play with, preferably a nice yard to run around in, and an active family that will enjoy playing with him. His situation is urgent because his current mom is unable to walk him and living in a city environment, she has no choice but it is a tremendous struggle for her every day. She loves him tremendously and wants to make sure that the next family he goes to will be the one that loves him forever. Boz will make a wonderful addition to any home! ***** If you are interested in learning more about this boy and seeing additional photos and videos, please call/text Aly at 732-604-0625! ****** Thank you for caring about a pet in need!
