Athena the Mixed Breed! 's Story Ϭ Meet Athena in person! Athena will be available to meet at our adoption event on Saturday, February 21st from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at End of the Leash- 5430 South 108th Street, Hales Corners, WI 53130. Athena made the journey from Texas on January 9th with her four tiny, two-week-old puppies by her side. Since arriving in Wisconsin, she has lovingly raised her babies in foster care, and now that they're ready to find homes of their own, it's finally Athena's turn to be someone's baby. Athena is a beautiful 2 year old mixed breed adult. Athena is a bit on the shy side but will open up easily and has done wonderfully in her foster home. She lives with multiple dogs (not just her own litter!) and has been a fantastic playmate to everyone. She's currently fostered on a small farm and has taken everything in stride. She's quiet, affectionate, and ready for a family who will give her the love and stability she's given her pups. She is scheduled for her spay (covered by the rescue), up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition. Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee.
