We encourage potential adopters to apply ahead of our adoption events so we can begin getting to know you and help assess whether an adoption may be a good match prior to the event. Anna is about 1 years old and weighs about 20 lbs. We think she looks like a Schnauzer/Yorkie/Scruffy Terrier Mix - THIS IS JUST A GUESS. Anna is NOT a hypoallergenic dog. Anna is a very shy and quiet girl. She has come out of her shell slowly in her foster home, but she is still a shy dog. Anna is playful and sweet once she gets acclimated. Anna enjoys the company of the resident dog in her foster home and requires another young and confident dog in her forever home. Anna came from a very rural area and is not used to all the hustle and bustle of Suburbia. Anna is still fearful of many everyday noises and will run and hide when she is afraid. Anna is not fostered with children and given her shy nature, we feel if there were children in her forever home she would be ok with respectful children 12 years and up who can understand Anna will need her space. Anna will need time to adjust to her forever home and is not a dog who will enjoy being picked up or being pet constantly. Anna prefers a calm and quiet lifestyle. Anna is spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. The Adoption Fee is $400.00. ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue*** ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.*** Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care.
