The second incident: the Current Shepherd Parent's son gave his friend the garage code without the Current Shepherd Parent knowing, and his friend used that code to enter the home unannounced and Pax lunged at him, the son jumped in front of his friend and got bit trying to calm Pax down away from his friend. Minor and NO report. The third incident: the son walked in the home with his girlfriend right behind him, Pax has had positive interactions with her before and is familiar with her, Pax went up to her and sniffed her and then bit her on the leg. This was the most concerning because the Current Shepherd Parent feels this was very unpredictable Behavior since Pax was familiar with her and was fine with her. She did go to the hospital to be on antibiotics but NO report was filed. NOTES FROM CURRENT SHEPHERD PARENT: 'Pax is an incredibly loyal and intelligent German Shepherd who bonds deeply with his person. He has been with me since he was a puppy, and when he feels safe and understands his structure, he is devoted, attentive, and eager to work. He thrives on routine and does very well with clear expectations and consistent leadership. He enjoys training and responds well to engagement and purposeful activity. In a calm, structured environment, he can be affectionate and connected, often preferring to stay close to his person. He is not a dog for everyone, but for the right, experienced handler - someone familiar with shepherds or working breeds - he has the capacity to be a deeply bonded and rewarding companion. Pax would do best as the only pet in an adult-only home with someone who understands management, boundaries, and continued behavioral work. He needs an advocate who sees both his sensitivity and his intelligence, and who can provide the stability he relies on.Letting him go is heartbreaking, but my hope is that the right home will give him the consistency and confidence he needs to truly feel secure.' Re Homing because'|: because of the most recent incident, the Current Shepherd Parent feels this was unpredictable behavior and is not comfortable with keeping Pax. The Current Shepherd Parent is considering Behavioral Euthanization, but we are truly hoping that a miracle will pop up and inquire and be able to save Pax. I have Hope and Faith that Pax will be an amazing companion for the right person. I believe he is very misunderstood and just needs someone experienc
